Pentecostal Tabernacle

Honduras Mission Trip

What?

This summer Pentecostal Tabernacle will send a team of ten people to serve the poor in Honduras. The team will join in a long-term effort to fight generational poverty in the community by investing in the village’s youth. We will help the kids learn English, organize athletic activities, build relationships and show the love of Christ in tangible ways.

Where?

With a population of less than 5,000, Linaca is not large enough to make it onto any map, but it is near the city of Danli in the southeastern part of Honduras.

Why?

For the last several years, Pentecostal Tabernacle has partnered with World Resources Group (WRG) to meet the needs of people in the village of Linaca. We provided funding to purchase a bus so that high school students could get to school and we also made it possible for WRG to install safer cookstoves in 400 homes there. This year instead of just sending financial resources, a team from our church will be traveling to Honduras to see first hand how God is working.

When?

The team will be traveling to Honduras July 29-August 4. Between now and then we’ll be team-building and gathering supplies for the trip.

How can I help?

We are looking for people who are willing to support this trip both financially and in prayer. If you are interested in being a prayer partner for this trip, please go to the Contact page. If you are interested in supporting the team financially, please click on the Donate button above. The team is hoping to raise approximately half the cost of the trip ($8000) through gifts from people like you.
