Sunday, May 9th at 8:30 AM - The next session of the Partnership Orientation Class will convene on the first floor of 345 Washington Street. Saturday, May 8th at 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM - Women Of Reaping The Harvest will host the Single Mom’s Day Spa. This event will be held over at 345 Washington St, 1st and 2nd floor. Please reserve your spot by signing up. Space is limited. For further information email Lady Carmen at mail@ptspice.org.

On Sunday, May 2nd, Pentecostal Tabernacle will participate in Project Bread’s 2010 Walk for Hunger. I hope that you will support us in our efforts to raise money to help end hunger in Massachusetts!

Why is PT walking? We’re walking because many families in Massachusetts are seeing their monthly incomes stretched beyond capacity. The demand for emergency food has never been greater, with pantries and meal programs supported by Project Bread serving 57.3 million meals last year alone.

Funds raised through the Walk support more than 400 emergency food programs statewide, and Pentecostal Tabernacle’s Food Pantry is one of them. To walk or to donate, please see Sharon Walcott or email her at mail@ptspice.org.

On Thursdays, Thursdays, May 20th (rain date May 27th); June 24th (rain date June 1st); & August 5th (rain date TBA),  We present music, dance, the word of God, and supplies for the homeless community – all in the heart of Central Square. This will take place in Jill Brown-Rhone Park (formerly Lafeyette Plaza, in front of Café Luna) in Central Square Cambridge, from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Friday, April 30th at 7:00 PM - The next C4L (Pentecostal Tabernacle’s youth ministry) meeting will take place at Pentecostal Tabernacle. Ages 13-18 are welcome.

Wednesday, April 28th at 6:00 PM – The sanctuary will be open at 6:00 PM for prayer and meditation. At 7:00 PM, we will meet in the fellowship hall for Bible study. The lesson will be based on the book Fasting. The book can be purchased for $10 at the Resource Center or at Bible study.

Please hang out with us for an informational session on Sunday, April 25th from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Pentecostal Tabernacle to learn how you can get involved in the 2010 Central Square Soccer Nights that will take place on July 19-23 at Sennott Park.

Soccer Nights is a free summer evening soccer clinic offered to children ages 6 – 12 that seeks to promote athletic skill, leadership development and citywide unity in neighborhoods throughout Cambridge.

Volunteers are needed for coaching, team leading, set up/clean up, registration, even schmoozing with parents. Come learn how you can help out!

FOR PARENTS: Enrichment Programs - We offer high quality enrichment programs to children and teens throughout Cambridge. In partnership with other churches, the City of Cambridge, and other organizations, each program offers unique learning experiences and strengthens community.

Sunday, April 25th – Graduate Sunday for the Class of 2010. All Students (pre-school to graduate) please mark your calendars as Pentecostal Tabernacle will be celebrating your accomplishment. Please sign up in the Connection Center after both services if you are graduating in 2010.

 

On Saturday, April 24th at 8:30 PM, The Change Agents Young Adult Ministry will be hosting their annual Coffeehouse event, a time of fellowship through poetry, spoken word, and song. Women of Reaping the Harvest (W.O.R.T.H.) will have its Conference entitled “Tic Toc” on Friday, April 16th to Sunday, April 18th. All women are invited. Brochures are now available.
